A Estátua da Liberdade foi um presente da França para os Estados Unidos para comemorar os 100 anos da declaração de independência do país norte-americano. É um dos pontos turísticos mais visitados de Nova York e é preciso pegar um ferry-boat para ir de Manhattan até lá. O passeio que inclui uma visita a Ellis Island - lugar onde chegavam os imigrantes no início do século XX - custa em torno de US$ 25.

Silvia Ayumi é a professora de japonês da Tower. É psicóloga também e veio de São Paulo. Está sempre preocupada em tornar suas aulas interessantes para os alunos e em fazer os alunos falarem japonês rapidamente.

Julian e nosso professor de espanhol. Ele tambem e musico e forma uma banda com David, nosso professor de ingles. The Beatles e sua banda preferida. Muito carismatico, ele ja conquistou o coracao da escola.

Daiana Amaral e professora de frances desde 2009. Formou-se pela UFSC em Lingua e Literatura de Lingua Francesa. Seus principais interesses sao literatura, cultura e cinema franceses. Adora navegar na Internet e ler livros que ajudam a refletir. Sua frase favorita vem das Ciencias Politicas: "Temos o direito a sermos iguais quando a diferenca nos inferioriza. Temos o direito a sermos diferentes quando a igualdade nos descaracteriza."

   Jessica Cofsevicz is a full-time secretary for Tower. She is always welcoming students with a big smile on her face. Everybody likes her. She was born in Coronel Freitas/SC. She intends to be an English teacher one day.  Tower Idiomas is very proud to have her in its working team.

Raquel Keller has got a Master's Degree in Literature from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. She has been a teacher for over 20 years with extensive experience in the teaching of English as a foreign language. She has published translated works in the areas of Cinema and Literature, North-American and British Literature. She translates poetry, prose and official documents from English to Portuguese and vice versa. Raquel has a special interest in British and North-American Literature. More recently, she has decided to go back to college because she believes that a professional is her area should never stop studying. She also believes that Tower Idiomas has been facilitating the growth of Chapeco and contributing to the enrichment of a better community.

David Rat is a published author, a celebrated New York City musician, and most notably at present the only American Native English Teacher in Chapeco, Brazil...Of his three careers he enjoys and is most proud of his role as a Teacher. More so than Art, Literature or Rock and Roll, he believes inspiring his students to speak the international language (American English) fluently, is the single most effective way he can make a difference. By enabling people to communicate more effectively on a global scale, they can form bonds and friendships, and work together to achieve a more peaceful and compassionate world...Tower Idiomas believes we have a significant edge in the Chapeco language community as we are the only school which can offer authentic everyday English beyond the typical didactic courses....
